got fed up with the lack of info from genius and the app. talked with my CA. they dug around with BMW and found out the car is sitting at the port in Altamira. will be loading onto the RCC Grand Mercury due into port of Baltimore OOA 11 March. That ship is in the anchorage. If that plan happens it would have been 7 weeks from production complete to port in US.

Here is the timeline for my M2:
3-Nov Order placed 4-Nov Allocation received 15-Nov Started production 28-Nov Build complete and passed QC 7-Jan Loaded onto shipping vessel 15-Jan Arrived at port of destination 29-Jan Arrived at dealership 30-Jan Delivered All in all, it took less than 3 months from order to delivery, even with 4 weeks of it sitting at the factory after completing the build. But I still feel quite lucky for that timeline given what I've seen with other orders. Here are a couple pictures from delivery day:

Mine jumped a few steps on Friday and is on a ship right outside the port! Ship is Vela Leader heading to Port Hueneme, CA per BMW Genius and should be there tomorrow!

I'm having second thoughts about slamming it again. It's on the factory drop from port right now and the handling on this one feels noticeably better than on my last G87 that was slammed. Im not kidding, it's shocking. Plus the added benefit of an extra 10mm between my Alpha N front lip and the ground is a nice bonus. When we start racing this thing I might lower it a little more if I need to, but I think this might even be better for weight transfer so I'm not constantly blowing the tires off 90 feet down track. |

Took delivery yesterday.
![]() Haven't been able to drive 'Emma' much since - I have a hernia that I'm managing until surgery later in March - but my CA said that after it arrived at the dealer on Tuesday, she had several fellow CAs ask if she was absolutely sure it was already sold. Apparently they really dug Skyscraper Grey with the red interior/calipers - SG is more of a dark silver that really makes the G87's curves pop. She goes in for front-to-back ceramic tomorrow, including the first 'real' mod: CF mirror caps from NW Carbon Haus.
