Agreed. They certainly cannot ship them quickly enough. Bottlenecked.

I was solely referring to Plant SLP times. I haven’t seen any improvement at all on the Trucking>Shipping>Port>Trucking times unfortunately and now these various Stop Sales, I’m feeling extraordinarily fortunate that I got mine in 117 days. And those last 60 made me feel borderline bonkers.

A client of mine whose priority 1 G87 has been sitting at SLP for just over a month now is talking about walking if it does not arrive prior to September 1st.

Ha, what a clown.

I believe you have the skills to talk him down, of course only if you want to. Someone will take that car in a hurry.

He has been waiting over two years. I get it, if one waits long enough the desire begins to wear off. He would revoke his $1k deposit, peanuts to most.

I’m not a dealer or broker but there is a buildable M2 allocation here in Texas at sticker. PM me today if you’re serious and can commit today.

Two years since what, he put his deposit down? I think a lot of us waited at least a year and many still are. I think you should only start counting from when you got your Allocation, but I get it, the wait blows. He’s so close though at this point, seems like madness to walk away now.

Sold already? Damn. I'm in Houston, TX I would've taken this in a heartbeat. Don't think my account allows PM right now

I got my VIN like 2 weeks ago. Sales rep said it’s supposed to be completed on 7/20 and arrive in August. No new updates since I got the vin and moved into production begins status. No Carbon package. Thoughts on what the actual timeline might be?

A safe estimate would be 60 days from end of production.

Yes, since placing their deposit to be placed on our waitlist. I believe they are now leaning towards getting a CPO Cayman GTS 4.0. Not a big deal as the transaction will stay within our automotive group.

90-120 days is the current average.

I feel like many people place an order to hop on the band wagon and feel like they are a part of something. Then they have regrets but pride gets in the way of canceling. Then something small comes up and they use that as an excuse to back out, when they had other reasons all along. Just my opinion based on personal observation.

His was completed before mine. Now mine will hit the VPC tomorrow. It's weird how cars randomly get passed up.

Man, that’s deep AND fucked up. I still can’t get over how impressive this car is. The wait was rough but I believe it’s making me appreciate it even more (if that’s possible). You’d be an absolute buffoon to walk away now, especially $1k lighter.

Agreed, but in this specific case this is a longtime client with multiple BMWs. Truth be told, I suspect they, husband/wife have realized that they would like to experience something else and that something else is a Cayman GTS 4.0.
