Had the 555r2 on the rears of my Mustang. It truly is a remarkable drag radial compound that can hook power but handle daily duties including rain, which cannot be said about alot of DR compounds.

Installed the Autotecknik carbon fiber mirror caps this evening. Finish is 8.5/10, fit is 7/10. Picked them up during Black Friday sales.

Coded anti-dazzle feature back in using bimmercode. Suuuuuper happy with it, worth the price of the app and then some.

Damn, well done! And I thought I was doing well with the 14mpg I’m getting since my last refill.
Step on it a little bit, Mr. Carefree - these beasts need their exercise!

If you've specced your car with the lighting package, it takes your automatic highbeams to the next level. Right now, US spec cars have 2 modes (on or off). If the auto-highbeams detect a car in front, or oncoming, it'll turn your high's off, and then back on again when appropriate.
With Anti-dazzle, it actually can reposition and turn off highbeams individually. So, if you are following a car, the sides of the road will still be illuminated with your high's, without blinding the guy in front of you. Same with oncoming traffic, the left highbeam shuts off, but right one still remains on and illuminates that part of the road. It's incredibly useful as a safety feature, but also just really freaking cool. Here's a view of how it looks in reality: https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...29&postcount=4 And, if you do have the Lighting Package, you can enable it using these steps (much easier than it may seem at first, trust me): https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...9&postcount=28 The only change to the instructions above is that you don't need to choose the M3, Bimmercode now has M2 support natively and works perfectly here. |

Just checked out of curiosity, and I'm at 23 mpg over 3500 miles. Half of that was a long road trip to Glacier and back where I was able to get nearly 30 mpg on some tanks. This is much better than the RX8 it replaced lol.

Looks like averaging 17.8. Not sure i really buy that considering the amount of spirited driving. Not complaining though much better than the v8 Mustang it replaced. Was getting around 10-11mpg running e85/flex fuel but still only like 14mpg running straight 91.

I run steering and suspension, but not engine, in SPORT on a daily basis. When urge arises I go to full Sport, M1, or M2 settings but I’m not a stoplight to stoplight racer. Had plenty of that with my muscle cars. However, this car is far more complete and fun to drive.

Got AUTOID’s black front badge which I test fitted with sine scotch double sided tape just for the picture and removed. Just waiting for my front mount intakes and new grill to arrive to actually install it
