The ship pays fees while in port. They need to offload hundreds of cars quickly.

I think it is this VPC (Link below) which is right where the boat docked. We are just hearing about the big new SP VPC.

The Sunrise is likely unloading Kias and Hyundais in Dundalk and will go to Sparrows Point next. I’d love to be wrong and see a single stop in Baltimore, but I think it will make two.

Ok this is driving me nuts. The port we were told is Baltimore (not Dundalk or Sparrows Point). When I click on the destination in the picture attached for the Glovis Sunrise destination it goes to USBAL not USPPO for Sparrows Point or USDDQ for Dundalk. It says ‘moored’ but doesn’t say it has reached the Baltimore destination with a completed date/time. So this makes me think it took an unscheduled stop in Dundalk and is still headed for USBAL.
Maybe it’s unloading at Dundalk or maybe it just needed a berth to sit overnight because there is not enough room to float around like it did in Brunswick. But if it does unload us at USBAL not sure what VPC we use. I read some old Bimmerpost that the Mercedes VPC in USBAL processed BMW but it’s not clear and was years ago. So I guess we just have to wait and see what happens with my garage status updates, dealer updates or vessel finder updates. Stay in touch if any of you are notified with any updates as usual |

I hope you are right and also that there is no Philly stop.
I need this mighty ship in Bayonne, NJ.

I’m taking delivery in NY (Long Island), and my CA told me that my car will be unloaded in Baltimore and trucked to the dealership. They’re not expecting a NY offload. That’s what the VIR is showing, but he is going to follow up on Monday. That doesn’t make sense with what I’ve seen on the forums, but stranger things have happened.

It looks like they go from Dundalk to Baltimore. Carmen (vehicles carrier) did the same route. Arrived in Dundalk then 2 days and 8 hours later it went to Baltimore port.
