If you have a production number, go to https://www.bmwusa.com/ and create an account, gonto your garage to add a car and put in your production number. It will tell you if you are getting a MY23 or MY24 which would also give an inkling as to delivery date. On Monday, ask your CA or call the Genius line for a production date, that will help determine approximate delivery time.

Then that is what it will be. The consumer online tracker is already displaying the 2024 G87s, “Order Received.”

Week 32 is the first week of 2024 production.

Being a long-time reader since I placed my order at my dearship. Btw registration page in G87 forum doesn't work, so I had to click registration from F87 page.

My M2 has been in "Quality Check" since June 8th. Finally called my SA, and he said it has a stop sale due to left strut tower issue.

What color and spec? A ton of peeps are getting stopped in Quality check for the left strut.

ZB w/ Auto. Carbon roof only. I have seen a few people in forum stuck at this left sturt tower issue.

Yeah, so it’s weird cause a buddy who also got his allocation the same day I did (6/1) has near the same spec with you minus the auto and his is already “ready for transportation “. Mine went to “Quality Check” on Saturday.

I asked my CA and he sent me my Vehicle Inquiry and even thought I’m status 155 (Assembly finish/quality check) It shows nothing for a stop sale but as TUD mentioned, I doubt they will show it.

Our current P1 unit has been sitting at 160 for two plus weeks. There are two things that are probably prohibiting it from moving. The wireless charging and/or the left front strut.

Thankfully I didn’t do the wireless charging and I went into Quality check on Friday. But, a buddy of mine who got his allocation the same day I did is already at “ready for transport”.

This unit entered assembly, completed assembly, went to QC, and then final assembly all in one day. It has sat at 160 ever since.

I put in the cancelation request for the wireless charging option today based on all the feedback on this forum on the subject. Based on its performance and potential for delays seemed like a no brainer (that I had no idea about when ordering lol).
