Thanks for the update. Interesting that the CS will be based on the LCI which I’m guessing will take place at the same time as the 2 series LCI in 4/25. Also, surprising how much later the car will be released given the spy cars have been around for some time already.

That begs the question. Did we ever hear if there will be an M2 CSL yet? Given the CS production ends in 2026 and the M2 production ends in 2029, I’m sure there will be another special model to fill the gap and be a last hurrah?…

As you can see with the example of M2 CS, the first details become available to me approximately two years before a model goes into production. For longer term predictions, you'll need to check other sources.

Would be pretty redundant with the 2 series. Wouldn’t think there’s market share for both.

As 3/2024 draws closer do you have any insight on an announcement date for manual transmission for US Z4 M40i other than “any day now”? Any news on if it will be packaged with other options or if it will be a stand alone option?

I think the 2024 M4 already has the latest interior updates, such as the curved screen and iDrive 8, tons of leather colors. All, except glass knobs, perhaps, which look subjectively cool. Otherwise, what other updates did you refer to?

Question. Is it safe to assume that the S58 engine build in Austria is identical to that that had been previously built in Germany?

I'd think it'd to be true as i4's are currently coming in with 8.5. However since the M design is different, can't tell for sure.

It is quite frustrating that it is hard to know what HW versions are in each of the products - how can we tell which HW version is in production now?
