Has anyone seen "Honey Boy" with Shia LaBeouf? I watched the trailer and it looks pretty good. Has a lot of good reviews. I guess it's a kind of introspective look on his own life and the struggles he has endured with his alcoholic father. Interesting he plays his father in the movie.

Watched BECKETT (Denzel Washington son).
Man.... It was beyond lame. He's definitely not a chip off of the old block.

Yup. 100% agreed!!! I turned it off halfway through the movie. The plot, cinematography, AND acting were super lame. Other actors were much better than Washington’s. I cannot believe he is Denzel’s son…

I was going to say the same for Scott Eastwood. Seen him in other movies and thought meh, but I saw him in "Wrath of Man" and thought he was pretty good as the bad guy. Don't know how well I'll like him in the future, especially if he's the hero. I guess we'll see. Maybe he needs to continue to be the villain. Maybe that's his niche.

John David Washington (JDW) was good in Ballers on HBO. In Tenet he was okay and in Bekett it was just wtf? I agree that certain actors and actresses have a niche that they do best in.

Never watched Ballers and haven't seen Tenet, but just watched a trailer. Looks good. Will add it to my watch list.

What's surprising is that the one female actress who played his girlfriend is an excellent actress. Unfortunately she didn't get enough screen time.

Yeah, I also didn’t know until a year or so ago. Must have missed the memo.

You know, I was wondering if that was her. Didn’t quite look like her but at the same time kind of did. I didn’t bother looking it up since the movie sucked. That’s the kind of movies that could put an actor down a slippery slope to C-list.

It was great for a few seasons. Then it tailed off towards the end. Was kind of like Entourage.
