My 2nd local dealer got 1 allocation in July. I'm now moving into the #1 or #2 spot depending on if the current #1 opts for the current allocation available or not. Getting close. However, my wife and I are getting impatient and have started to look at other cars. She really wants a Porsche so looking at options there as well. First world problems....

You will probably get to final assembly in the next day or so and then you will meet mr. holdup.

What did your CA say? I replied back to your post on the other thread. I’m also at Final Assembly yet my Vehicle Report from my CA shows 160 and produced, not yet shipped.

They have been moving quickly through QC, a day at most, but sitting for weeks in final assembly or status 160.

Same here. “Final assembly” in the tracker but been 160 since June 23.

Any interest in a carbon milk crate? That may be your only option right now.

Mine was supposed to start production this week but last Friday it went to order received status. My CA called me yesterday. He thinks it's because of the carbon spec because they can't order any of the M's with carbon buckets right now. Some district/regional supervisor whatever dude was going to the dealership this week and my CA says that this guy has the story. He will call me when he knows but we will see.

Patience is a virtue, not too worried just curious. Chalked this summer up as an L anyways. The car would sit in a garage all winter given I’m in the northeast

Sounds about right. I was told the same regarding the buckets for mine. Glad we’re somewhat on the same page lol

Haven't been on here in many years - but figured I'd share.

Alpine white, Carbon package, shadow line & Lighting package, 6MT, live cockpit pro- or whatever thats called, alcantara M arm rest, carbon deck lid, etc - basically every option avail with a manual (as some options can't be had unless the car is auto)

the site says its at "final assembly" - dealer says, should be at port jersey soon (within a week?) and then 1 more week to arrive at dealer.

the roof is part of the carbon package - the decklid is the smaller optional spoiler.

So you have a cf (M Performance) spoiler, not decklid (decklid would refer to the trunk).
