There are numerous posts that discuss this.

As far as anything you add to the build, it will be on the tracker under added option drop-down.

Your CA should be able give you your production week # or date. Also remember to ask him for the VIR when you talk to him.

I’m going to call BMW NA this week. I just got to the Bahamas, but I’m out of my mind anxious. I’ll see what I can find out. To be honest, I’d rather be back there with an M2. It feels even hotter here.

Yes, you should be in the range of end of October to end of November.

Google BMW NA for the numbers (main and Genius). Your CA should also be able to tell you (ask for a Vehicle Information Report (VIR).

I received my allocation on July 28. Called BMW NA and got a production week of 36. She told me that I can expect the car end of October or early November as long as I do not get bumped. The rep warned me that these cars being built in Mexico sits at port for at least a month. Fingers crossed.

If you check my spreadsheet (https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...84&postcount=1) you will see the time from Ready for Transport to Departing the port has been running since July from 8-18 days, not a month. It all depends on ship timing, as they can be weeks apart.

Allocation received July 26. BGM, No carbon, red calipers, Cognac, Aluminum trim. Showing order received currently.

EDIT - Galleria BMW; moved deposit from Gwinnett BMW when I was alerted I was #19 on the list, Galleria I was #4 when placing the order in early May.

Hi all, Stupid question from a newbie but how do I know if I have an allocation? I just placed order and my salesperson says it has its own allocation with estimated production start in September. I don’t know if that’s accurate. BMW website tracking as order received

That would indicate the order is placed and accepted (status 111). An order cannot be placed witan allocation.
