Interesting cover shot from Motor Trend. Do they have additional protection? Looks like it...

That looks like OEM if you have the manual transmission.

Also, would they put the 50th badges on an updated MY?

I can verify this. Just picked up my 24 auto and it has no guards.

Has anyone found a part number for them? Hoping they can be installed on the automatic models.

I bet it was only 7! Give yourself some credit and dont be so hard on yourself Looks good.

I also installed mine. Honestly it’s not as easy to install because I’m afraid of getting scratches. It took me 3 hours as I did it very carefully. The two small pieces right next to the center one are most difficult. Need to insert it from a weird angle.

The dealer can order it and install it for you. But the labor is $300. It’s crazy. You don’t need to take off the bumper so it can be diy.

So this is a non-issue if you ordered a manual? I have MY25 on order and ordering essential mods. I ordered the Mishimoto Skid Plate and wondering if I also need to order protection for the front radiator.

There is an OEM screen on the radiator for the manual cars. It isn't beefy, and a large rock could still puncture the radiator but it does provide some protection. Still added a screen to mine due to tracking the car (higher-speed debris), plus its my daily and there are a lot of rocks on the roads where I live.

Thanks, Hank, the Northwest Toll Road in Illinois is always under construction so I am going to order from Custom CarGrills, do you remember what size sheet you ordered? I will install it just as you did.

12x48” small diamond grill mesh, gloss black….you don’t need that much but ordered it before the car was here and wasn’t sure if I’d need a do-over in case I messed one up and was considering doing the side grilles.

Oh - I did not realize the auto and MT were different. I went out and checked my MT and yeah - it matches the magazine picture. Guess I missed that in earlier posts somehow...

i purchased the oem protection for my auto. i thought this would be plug and play but doesn’t look like. Does the autos have a transmission cooler in front of the radiator. hard to tell with from the pics as the manuals have the grill already

Yes the automatics have a transmission cooler in front. I posted a technical document a while bag that shows the whole cooling schematic (on my phone now and too lazy to find that old post). Google for S58 engine cooling schematic (or something like that) and you should find it.

So the stradale centre centre mesh is installed through the front, and the stradale side mesh is installed by coming through from underneath?

I did all 3 pieces from the front without removing the bumper.

I prefer this option too.
Can you reply post to me how you installed please?
Did you have to remove anything to get it in?

I have an auto on the way, do I need to order both top and bottom guards or just the bottom due to the transmission cooler?

I think that this is not only a good option but actually looks really good too!
Did you do the same for the vents?

Agree!
So you did the same for the top behind the kidney grills, or is this already protected from factory (for auto) and just the bottom needs it?
