I have updated the original post with this info
Thanks! Do you know if there is leather on the dashboard and top of doors, similar to M3/4?

I'm surprised to say this since the wing is so aggressive, but yes for me too. I've always wanted to put a low rise wing on my E36 since it was such a cool look for that car. Helps it make it stand out. I would stick to the normal quad pipes though

Observations from the recently posted MPP M2 pics.

You can see the fender vents hiding under the camo.

Look how aggressive the rear bumper is. Guessing that rear bumper is only if the car is spec'd with MPP exhaust.

That'd be odd the MPP exhaust would require a whole new bumper rather than just the diffuser...but you're right. Super aggressive and we don't see that in any other spy shot.

It's possible those fender grills are also part of an MPP.

Now that I'm thinking about it, bumper might just be another MPP part. They are really going to milk this.

Almost positive those extra vents are just add on MPP parts. I also assume the MPP exhaust requires just a different diffuser but who knows, maybe they'll require a whole new bumper although that would just lead to much lower take rate. You'd think they learned from the low take rate on the G80 exhaust but who knows

I mean, I want to see some options here. If the car costs let's say $62,300, you can probably option it out to $70K very easily. And with all of the MPP that are clearly being "tested" or let's be honest, shown to draw attention to the car, this could easily be a $80K car. With these prices, the 2 is the new 3 and the 3 is the new 5.
That's cool and all but I think it may really change the ethos of the M2.

I think they got an earful regarding the F87 not having any options. I for one was really upset with the F87's color palette and lack of adaptive suspension. That said, it doesn't make sense to put an entry level M car out of reach of their target audience. The base model will most likely be decently optioned. You can look at what's standard on the M240i. We know that a CF roof will be an option to keep cost down. There will be other options, similar to the G80/2 such as CF bucket seats etc. Then there's a competition model. So it seems they are trying to offer something everyone which is awesome. I'm just bummed that the MPP exhaust has that weird stacked design. I will be looking to the aftermarket for that.

Another piece to take a peak at when you get another chance would be the fender grills...will they be the typical grills we come to expect from most M cars or will there be three gills like the pics above.

Funnily enough, if I were to order a G87, it would be very similar to my F87C. That's the thing about these smaller M cars, I don't want options as this should be what small M cars are about. They should be as simple as possible.

I'd be happy with a brighter color like LBB (so either blue launch color or Isle of man green), a base/6MT version, carbon buckets and MP rear wing. Done (ok maybe throw in heated steering wheel if it's available without having to add a package).

I would expect this to be right at low 70s.

Guys I highly doubt that rear wing produces any downforce. On the E36 LTW, the wing had some risers to put it into the clean airflow if I remember correctly.

Just pretty, no aero advantage, like all M Performance parts.

But very pretty IMO.
