Wow. 500hp and a few kg's less in weight for what? In a marginal sense........zero overall. There are better more interesting options when you start tossing money around.

M4 CSL's are sitting and prices are discounted just looking at the US market lol. 10k below book on some listing. A few new still sitting. Dont believe the hype at all. Need one? Get it used lol. Fly here to Germany, rent at the Ring etc and live your dream. Let some other fool take the depreciation.

M3 CS price drop example lol -

Vehicle Pricing History 2024 used/ 11k miles on the machine.

Premonition? Or just the same rinse/repeat for every GTS or CS(L) release?

Another crass and shitey post. Piss off and get over yourself. I certainly have no butthurt over the new CS. It will be interesting and smartly bought used.

Your entire opening rant doesn’t reference ‘used’ once.

Rinse. Repeat.

It will be an interesting car. My dealer has reached out to me about my interest but that wont be a new purchase at all. Not worth it. Used certainly, but recommending that here caused measurable 'butthurt' for the less reading inclined in a couple posts. Im sure they will recover.

I would be seriously considering it if I felt like waiting another year and a half. I CANNOT want another year and a half. I'm dyin' and need an M2 now. My 2025 will take long enough to get here as it is.
And there's NO way I'm going to eat and entire year's worth of depreciation to flip it in 1 year - that'd be beyond dumb.
Trading my 2025 in for a last-run 2029? I could see that as a very real possibility.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about a 2029, especially if the next gen is going to be a hybrid and gain 1000 lbs like the new M5 did.

Luckily I already have a 2024 and will get to enjoy the hell out of it before the CS is available. If I can get one, I’ll absolutely jump on it even though, yes, the price gap won’t make sense, and the lack of 6MT will sting.

But, it’ll be a much better overall package than the base M2, that much more special, and the caché of a CS(L) is always worth some premium.
