This thread reeks of "Fuck you, got mine"

I find myself saying that a lot

There are no standard blue F8x or G8x colors that compare to voodoo. Don’t try me wrong, Yas and Portimao/Tanzanite are both nice but Yas is too light and Portimao is too dark for me. If SMB was offered for either platform, I bet there would be more uptake. And even many of the current base colors and individual colors for G8x are a variety of black, white, or grey. Dravit, frozen white, frozen grey, etc.

How far off Misano Blue is Voodoo? From the render it looks exactly like my old A91 Supra?

I’m due to be offered a MY2024 Brooklyn Grey next month. If I turn it down I will just wait for the MY2025 cars to arrive. My preference would be:

Grigio Telesto
Voodooblue
Zandvoort Blue
Twilight Purple
Skyscraper Grey

But I’m sure I’ll be happy with any out of these.

My previous car was a Misano and from videos online, Voodoo looks a shade darker.

Yeah, I’ve always found it weird how much complaining there is about the color selections on the baby M. Remember, the 1M only came in Valencia Orange, Alpine White and Sapphire Black. I would have happily taken an orange one and could care less that perhaps my very favorite color wasn’t offered.

I think people forget that BMW is trying to compromise as little possible performance wise to provide the consumer with a an absolute rocket ship of an M car. I s'il vous plaît.

I’ve been inclined to even find a wrap that color. Insanely elevated and superior looking imo.

Nm, googled color and not a red person… that name though
Hellrot is just "light red" in German. Decent red but doesn't hold a candle to Hennarot, as long as we're talking about legacy BMW reds. That was why I was disappointed they removed Toronto red from the options - when I saw TR in person it had a very Henna feel to it, if not quite as orange.

As far as the original topic goes, I'm not planning to buy a G87, but if I was I'd like to think I'd choose Twilight. Like someone else said, it's a shame you won't be able to pair it with the cognac seats since those plus silver wheels would be a super classy build. Alas.

Long Beach Blue was a superb color. Original M2 color. I would have ordered that as my 17 was LBB, and superb to look at.

I couldn’t take LBB. Too much teal, not enough blue.
One of the reasons I didn’t ever pull the trigger on an F87.
Misano blue on the CS blew my mind though, along with the price, rarity and adm.
