My personal take regarding the leak. They have been sitting on it for so long what do they expect? The longer it is kept under wraps and hidden the more opportunity there is for it to leak. Furthermore, having the reveal approximately fifty days prior to SOP is somewhat absurd.

100% agree. You would think they'd have had a damage control program ready to roll out at least partial reveals of every aspect of the car in event a premature ejaculation of photo's leaked out somehow.

Like everyone I hate the waiting game, and I understand you want to build up excitement. But they can control the process somewhat by doing their own release of at least partial real life photos for those of us who go into instant heat when we know a new small M is about to hit the streets.

When they did a partial reveal of the 1 M and I saw the below picture I was an absolute goner.

They could have done something similar with the G87 to at least satisfy some of the pent up passion until the final full reveal.

In the end marketing mismanagement in my humble opinion.

Has anyone found anything published about the G87s bolt pattern? I would love a set of 763Ms and the website says they fit the 2023 m2…but I’ve heard the bolt pattern of the g87 is 5x112 instead of 5x120 but I haven’t been able to confirm that anywhere.

That's because their website is messed up, when you select a 2023 M2 is shows you parts for an F87. We know the G87 will have a 5x112 bolt pattern because both the 1000M and 829M wheels which are performance wheel options for the G87 are also performance options for the G80/2 and they have a 5x112 bolt pattern. 763M wheels won't fit, but 963M wheels are similar in style except they only come in frozen gunmetal grey.
