I really like the rear spoiler painted to match. Any issue painting glossy carbon fiber & what was the cost?
Unrelated but I’m having my Alpha N wing paint matched for $650 through IND. So you’d think a ducktail wing would be around a 3rd to half of that.

IND is very expensive when it comes to painting. I've had entire hoods painted for less than they charge for small pieces.

That will look good painted to match btw.

As long as the quality is there. I’m fine with that.

Just ordered the maxton v2. Got tired of waiting for the autoid gloss black lip as it seems like it’s not happening!
Anyone who has ordered maxton recently have any input on lead times?

Another maxton v2. Used about 10 1” self tapper screws. Definitely is a low lip!

omg that Alpha N lip looks so good - even the weave is bi directional like the MP piece.

Mind sharing if the underside of the lip is "flat"? some of the other lips are slightly "hollow" on the underside. I've only see the CT Carbon lip having a proper flat finish.

I didn't choose a black car, because I wanted to see the contrast of the carbon roof, but man that car looks great

Looks great! Yes it’s low. I’m scraping here and there but it’s only a $250 lip so no worries!

Thanks! Yes don’t care about scraping but finding out since it is hallow underneath instead of scraping it actually is fragile and can chip off. Think they need to make it a more solid piece so it isn’t so fragile.

Has anyone tried this oem European aero splitter? I really just want something disposable to act as scrap protection.

Interesting. Haven’t seen this before. It’s probably tucked completely under the car.

That looks pretty much like the rubber air deflector on my Z06. It's designed to primarily direct air or create pressure for cooling. I doubt it provides much aerodynamic improvements, and obviously if you want to add a "splitter" for appearance purposes, it's useless because it's under the car. You'll also likely scrape it on everything.

It appears to be only $71 from www.bmwpartswarehouse.com

I bought the cheap ebay ABS plastic splitter as a sacrificial strip mainly to protect my IND painted center bumper trim. Its actually pretty nice because it installs using the factory hardware with only small strips of 3M tape, plus its like $80

I might go with this when my Stardale bites it. Was going well until lowered it and now…

I think I unknowingly picked up the same one! I like it as well. I have an MHC front lip but I have too much carbon going on now!

Hey I never saw this for some reason. The car is a total loss, so I can't get you pictures, but the alpha N lip is hollow and unfinished on the inside. It does not form a complete connection to itself if you understand what I mean.

I got the same style in black from amazon to replace the cf-look lip that chipped after 4 months of pure punishment. Liked the black colored lip better but it broke a small area in less than a month

Now really considering a more durable lip with a bit more clearance (my driveway is a killer).

The eBay lip installed is pretty good for the money. It will hold me over until I finally order a big boy splitter.
