I was 3rd in line but should of been first, I decided on this car in December of 2021. But some miss communication or understanding caused me to be 3rd, but the first 2 dropped out and in March they offered me the first one, but it didn’t have the seats…

Cars at the Dealership picking up Wednesday morning.

Picked up the car today from the dealership. Can't begin to explain how excited I am. I won the tire lottery and the HAS kit has the car sitting quite well. Only hiccup was that the rear calipers are missing that clip thing. Sales guy ordered them for me so all good.

Great pics! I do like the height with the HAS, and your dealership seems to have a good spot for delivery...the lights and stuff look great!

Oh, and love the backpack on the ground...for scale.

Yeah they made it a good experience. It was crazy to see it for the first time.

The HAS kit was so worth it and glad I added it. I've seen other folks do 15mm in the front and 12mm in the rear for spacers. Something I will look to do after the spring warm up.

How do you add the HAS kit to an order? Really makes the car look great.

If you have a car on order, email your sales associate. Tell them you want to add the M Performance HAS kit and they will add it to your build order. Keep in mind the HAS kit is 1700$ and they charge an additional 1000$ for labor for install so its not like the factory is just putting in a different part.

As long as the car is not at the port (not the port it is leaving) you can have the dealer add it on. The system will allow it. If the car is at the port already it is probably too late. Also I don’t know if they install it at all the ports..(might have to search the forum for that answer.

My HAS kit was installed at the vehicle processing center at the Port of Baltimore, and my understanding is that the other state-side ports do the same thing. My sales guy added it to the order after it went into production. Total all-in cost was $2820. Once they add it it shows up on the production tracker page under the added options for your car.

For you folks that have just gotten your cars, did yours come with the digital key thing? I've searched the forum but can only find info dating back to last April on this topic and nothing definitive.

The sales guy and me could not locate a digital key in the car. Trying to figure out if my car should have it or not. My understanding is that there is a card that you sync to the MyBMW app.

I havnt bought an M2 yet but my G82 M4 Comp did come with the digital key. Unsure if this is only an M3/4 thing but i cant imagine that it would be.

the bmw genius who shows you the car, will set up the digital key in your phone or atleast thats how it worked for me. got 2 keys, a credit card key and the key on my iphone ( which he set up )

Got it. I have seen pics on the forums here of the physical card that associates to the digital key process. Maybe for my car it's just in the BMW app. When we looked through the app on my phone we couldn't find an option for the digital key. Going to call the genius hotline and see whats up.
