I also entered production on 6/7. On 6/13 my production date changed from 6/16 to 6/24. Still at 6/24 today according to the google chrome hack.

Hopefully you should start to see it start to move tomorrow. I know mine started 2 days before my initial production date

Looks like I'm finally actually done. Moved to ready to transport. Seems like there are a lot of cars finishing up probably to switch over to 2023 models. Hopefully they get a carrier to port faster with all these completed cars ready to go!

Is there a thread with how to see production date using inspect element? Maybe that will have something.

I am getting worried that my car will end up in MY2023 territory. I'd really like to avoid that. Think I will have to reach out to my sales associate tomorrow.

Do you have the details of your production build?

22MY cars are model code 222K

23MY cars are model code 232k (XDrive) or 232C (RWD)

I believe your CA may have misread the order guide, which states that MY23 start of production is 7/22, meaning July of 2022. My ‘23 build is scheduled for week 28 production, which would be 7/11-7/15.

Also, 7/22/22 is a friday, which would not make sense to start production on a new model year.

This'll save Genius some calls from me. If the information is loaded in their back-end, why not display it somewhere and lighten their workload?

Well my car moved to production begins today and I just spoke with my CA who said it should be rolling off the assembly line July 13th. Bad news is I had asked him to adjust a few things previously which he never got around to so I may have a few options I did not want. Luckily it was minor stuff so we will make the best of it. Just excited to potentially get the car before the Michigan winter hits!

Better than having options you want and didn't get. Is your prod date 6/28? I'm still sitting in prod started with 6/28 build date.

I wanted to remove all weather floor mats, but CA said it could delay my build, so I decided to keep them, which I'm actually happy about because now I want them.

This makes zero sense. There's no way that's something getting added at the factory, right?

He said modifying the build could cause a delay. Wasn't worth the risk IMO. No big deal if it's not the case, being it's a cheap option.

That's a very good point. I wouldn't be surprised if you're right about that. I should've put two and two together.

That's true, I can live with what I'm getting. It just bothered me as this is my first BMW and first custom ordered car. I just called Genius and they said my car started production yesterday if that's what you mean.

7/22 wouldn't be when your build starts but when it should be completed. At least estimated. If your in Production started it should start to move around 7/20 or so and be completed by 7/22.

It seems like the date when checking it through chrome changes though after every step it completed. I need to check if mine updated again once it hit ready for transport.
