you will not make money trading for short term...what happens tomorrow should be irrelevent...what happens over the next month is important...if you trade day to day odds high you will lose money...it is these people who the pro's feed off of...get the IT and LT trend right to make money...trend will be up for awhile.

I still love MCP after it sells off. Has managed to bounce back every single time. For those that love to trade, keep an eye on MCP. RIMM is back in Bullish mode again.

Hmm...wanted to add to long positions(TNA, TYH) during slight selloff but it didnt happen...I am long REE, MCP's little brother since 7.5.

One would think huh?...but delta charts dont lie...hope people are making use of the calls on ST and IT basis....did anyone buy AGQ at 160 level?.

I have no idea what employment numbers will be tomorrow but charts say the mkts will interpret it as being bad, as I see some more selling over ST basis...but good time to add to longs imho.

peeling off 1/2 my SPY puts for 70% profit in 3 days...peeling off half my AGQ for decent profit there too...called for downturn 3 days ago...charts said we go down doesnt matter the reason.

Offset and protected longs with these shorts was the strategy during this selloff.

Massive Wave Of Lawsuits To Be Filed By The US Against America's Biggest Banks As Soon As Tomorrow

In a move that could either send BAC stock limit down overnight or send it soaring (we are still trying to figure out just what is going on here), the NYT has broken major news that the US is preparing to go nuclear on more than a dozen big banks among which Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, in an attempt for Fannie and Freddie to recoup $30 billion if not much more. The lawsuit is expected to hit the docket in the next few days: "The suits stem from subpoenas the finance agency issued to banks a year ago. If the case is not filed Friday, they said, it will come Tuesday, shortly before a deadline expires for the housing agency to file claims." Now, taken at face value, this would mean that Bank of America can kiss its ass goodbye as unlike the Walnut Place litigation, this will take place in Federal Court where Article 77 is not applicable. Yet there is something that gives us pause: namely logic, captured by the following words: "While I believe that F.H.F.A. is acting responsibly in its role as conservator, I am afraid that we risk pushing these guys off of a cliff and we’re going to have to bail out the banks again,” said Tim Rood, who worked at Fannie Mae until 2006 and is now a partner at the Collingwood Group, which advises banks and servicers on housing-related issues." In other words: if the banks are sued, and if justice prevails, the end of the world is nigh and cue TARP 2 - XXX. Now where have we heard that argument over, and over, and over before.

Too risky imho...going triple long financials when GS making new 2.5 yr lows not good...also the lawsuit against the banks that will be announced soon which cause a sea of red storm to the financials...now after that might be worth a look, but not for me thats for sure.

Still waiting for my interview...

I figured that bank news would lead to a down day.

Okay thanks!

Havin' a hard time deciding what to invest in atm. I made about 5-figures this Monday and have since pulled everything out to let the markets fall back down.

Not sure if FAZ would be a good call now then? With the release of that lawsuit, I'm sure the markets might take a deeper hit till it rallies back up.

Big leg down coming soon. I predict that this next big leg down will hit us within 6 months (can be any time now till 1 month after Chinese New Years). QE3 should kick in after this big leg down. This big leg down will trigger the next big leg up for Silver. So look for $50 followed by $60 Silver by the end of this year.
