I used BimmerLink this morning and as far as I can tell, it’s opened to 100%

The sound differences was noticeable, but not night and day. Just slightly more of a rumble.

The turbo noises from the Dinan intake I recently installed produced much louder sounds.

Curious if you think you'll get annoyed with the increased intake noise. I know some went back and put OEM on.

I love the Eventuri intake would not take that off for anybody, the mechanical who drove my car last week commented how good it sounded and were both over 50

At first it was a little different then what I had expected.

But now there is a level of childish excitement when I hear it.
The WEEEE! FASTER!! Effect to put it plainly.

Anyone doing any type of performance mod is not going to say that they are annoyed by intake/turbo noise. I think maybe that would be the case only for loud exhaust noise.

Don’t be so sure about that. I’m all for performance but at times, just normal driving, my intake can be embarrassing loud and makes me want to go back to stock….sometimes.

I’m talking about driving around my neighborhood, very slow acceleration, and you can hear my intake trying to vacuum up little children from almost a block away. I’m not kidding about the block away stuff either, it’s that loud.

The Genesis G70 3.3 twin turbo that I had before the M240i had a lot of intake/turbo noise when I drove it hard and I didn't like it at all and it was bone stock. It was so loud that I could not hear the exhaust. So far, I have heard none of that with the M240i. To each his own I guess but I much prefer hearing the exhaust rather than the intake (cars that is ).

You hear the intake because ya'll down in the USA drive pretty fast LOL. Honestly, I was just in Atlanta last month and I couldn't believe how fast people drive. No less than 20MPH over the limit all over, sometimes well over that. It was glorious.

Out where I live, I don't hear my turbo spool with my aftermarket intake because people accelerate so damn slow that the turbo never spools...LOL. For me, the turbo noises are a treat I get to experience once in a while.

What brand intake do you have that is "embarrassing loud" and can be heard from almost a block away?

My MST intake with turbo inlet is definitely noisy, I do wish it was embarrassing loud.

I have read it resets each time you power down the car. Is this your findings? Do you have to open it each restart?

I JB4 opens mine each start up but not sure to what percentage.

Radar detector mount installed with mirror tap.
I installed the mount to the right side so the garage door buttons wouldn't be obstructed.

Nicely done, but what kind of sociopath uses satellite view for navigating?

It does reset when the car powers off. Have to launch the app to open it back up. I’ll probably pull the fuse later
