I mean, in your shoes I'd probably do the same thing just to be sure but it blows my mind that something like floor mats could cause a delay.

Does anyone know if their are certain vessels that BMW uses or do they use any vehicle carrier? I was using vesselfinder.com and looking at Vera Cruz and Altamira for the ships and saw a few that were scheduled to arrive soon but I wasn't sure if there were certain ships BMW contracts with.

Nice. I think i missed that boat by like a week or less. I'm looking at Bravery Ace, its headed to VeraCruz and is supposed to be there by Jun 27. It looks like it heads up the east coast to New York. Hoping thats the ship my car will be on.

The west coast boat arrived to port hueneme this morning! Super exciting stuff.
Loving the mutual obsession over tracking in this thread. It makes me feel less insane. |

I've been in Final Assembly since late Wednesday afternoon with 6/22 prodDate. I went from Entering Production and all the way through Quality Check and to where I am now Tuesday into Wednesday. I am hoping the sudden wait is just in tracking. Genius advised me yesterday online is up to date and I should check back Monday

Seriously. I think I'm must be nuts tracking my garage and calling Genius so many times asking where's my car! I wonder if they keep a call log of how many times you call?

Where does it show you the production date besides asking Genius? When you guys show a change in build status is that from BMW usa.com my garage site ? Or is that the Google Chrome hack ? I only have an iPad so I could only go on the BMW USA website to check the status of my car.

[QUOTE=purplbimmer;29045753]It's the inspect element workaround on BMW's site. I don't believe you can do so on an iPad after a quick Google search but I could be wrong. If you are comfortable doing so (and if it is even allowed here), you could share your VIN with me in a post or message and I wouldn't mind checking what it says.
What about the production number or do you need the Vin thanks |
