I literally just told my CA on Friday to add Z58 MP Sports Suspension and ZC9 MP Rear Carbon Spoiler.

Update was accepted by BMW and went straight to 111 status with week 40 production target.

I hope it does not add a delay.

The delay due to the HAS will be at the destination port in the US (depending on parts, approximately 2 weeks). You may also experience delays in Mexico but it wont be related to the HAS install.

Mine ended up only taking 2 weeks extra.

I don't think it would add a delay. There is enough time for the planners to schedule for all the parts. Unless the parts are back-ordered or the planners fell asleep on a job.

In the New York area or Arizona? If New York, we may get it same week, as I'm in CT.

I'll race you to see who gets it first

Thank you for making me feel better

I just wished there were any reviews of the MP Sports Suspension vs factory suspension. I'll track the car somewhat regularly, and wanted to see if there is any meaningful improvement in body roll/control.

Suggest you read above as to info posted by those that have encountered delays from their own car or based on other members who have had it port installed. There will be a delay, its inevitable (the parts have to be installed vs just going through standard inspection and shipped off to dealership).

You win. The M2 will be in Arizona. We are driving our red 240i to New York for summers and selling our white 240i in a few months or whenever an interesting offer arises.

It will add at least 2 weeks, possibly longer.

You never know. They may have a truck ready with other cars going west and wait for a full load going north.

Race is on - good luck.

Well given that my car will likely arrive early December, 2 weeks will not make much of a difference.

Just need to brake it in for first track day in March.

Just read reviews on the M-perf HAS for G80. They are identical part numbers and unchanged for G87. Plenty of reviews over last few years.

As they are just rebranded G80 KW HAS you could also look at those reviews.

Thanks. I started reading some of those. I didn't find anyone doing a track review. Most people talk just about the looks of the drop, with a few talking about it being bouncy on the street when all the way down.

There is also a lot of confusion on to how the port install sets them up. Some here claim a 10mm drop front/back, on the G80/82 forums it seems to be all the way down in the back and 5mm from all the way down in the front.

In any event, I don't want to derail this thread.

Seems like allocations have been readily available in many areas over the last few weeks after that massive 900 allocation drop last round. Many places are fulfilled with no wait list now suggest just shopping around. Example my CA mentioned they are no longer wait listing and are ready to go but also found out last Friday they are not selling new M cars out of state so it is possible you just have to look around at options.

I've heard of a few dealers on the east coast with open allocations lately.
Not sure which exactly but call as many as you can within a few hours of you.

Can confirm -- BMW of Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie, NY got me an allocation 3 weeks after I inquired with them, so waitlist isn't that bad over there. Talk to Sam P, he's my CA and he's been great.

It was also hit or miss in NJ, I did manage to get one MSRP allocation there, but a lot wanted anywhere from 3-5k over. I still went with BMW of Hudson Valley, like my CA there better and they had lower dealer fees.

Well here we go. Production week got pushed back from 36 to 39 today. Called because I went from 112 status back down to 111. No carbon, no MP HAS

Checked with BMWNA today and the production is scheduled to be Week #35 (The week of Aug 27 to Sep 1, as I was told). That's actually quite unexpectedly soon.

I have the Carbon Package and a bunch of port installed MP options added.
