But the right / driver's side front can achieve the full 1.5* of negative camber. [this is not adjustable on many cars] It's not ideal but been confirmed with other X3 M owners that this was built into the existing chassis. I guess for the crown in the road maybe. I know this is close to comparing apples to oranges here. But I think there's some similarities in regards to the thoughts behinds these basic measures BMW took to offset & counter balance some things.
It’s interesting how BMW does things like this. I honestly would have never noticed unless I did the finger test and measured. I’m not upset as when I sit in it it’s completely level now due to weight distribution and probably same applies to your X3 M with the camber. Glad BMW M Performance team thinks of these things.

I was running a Wengerd E85 tune. My biggest complaint ( and it's not a very big complaint) of my 2022 10R80 was light throttle transmission response. With those 10 gears it could get a little finicky at times during cold operation or light throttle. Medium to WOT it was a great trans. I was speaking with a tuner before I decided to sell it and get this G87 and he said he had the trans shift tables from the 2024 which could be brought into the S550 and it makes a world of difference from what he said. In an event, I'll miss the car as it was fun to drive and good quality, but I'm REALLY LIKING this M2👍

Have folks determined yet what type of mix is allowable with the stock fuel pump?

GTP is setting me up with a flex fuel map and an e40 kill map. I've heard of people pushing e60 with the stock fuel system and no port injection, but I don't know too much about that. Hoping to learn as I go.

In the summer we'll change out the LPFP and add a CSF intake manifold and PI and see what we can do.

Coded out the active sound design. Car sounds much more natural inside the cabin now with my full cat back exhaust and music seems to sound better as well. May just be placebo, but I’m going with it.

I saw a few posts a while back that said it wasn't possible to code out in the G87.

How did you do it?

BimmerCode. Had to turn it to non active as well as deactivate the code. I followed the prompts it gives you in order to make sure it’s fully off. I heard the speakers cycle when I deactivated the code in the second step. Sounded a bit like unplugging an instrument from amp IMO.

Edit: used the M3 vehicle designation also

My Corvette is the same with the driver side just slightly higher than the passenger side. The Corvette has height adjustment bolts though so making changes to ride height is fairly simple.

Every day brings a new learning and observation for me. I programmed the settings for my M1 and M2 buttons. I basically put all settings into Sport for M1, then for M2 everything is Sport except for the Engine and Chassis which I set to Sport Plus.

Anyone else notice that the exhaust note in Sport plus is louder than in Sport? Is that just the cabin noise changing or is the exhaust actually louder? I haven't had a chance to test with someone else behind the car yet.

Sport + is more pronounced especially with the trans in d3. Of course this combo really woke up adding the AA EL mid.

Cool, thank you. So many options with these cars. I may just disconnect the exhaust valve control and affix the valve open so I don't have to be in sport or sport+ for all the sounds. But maybe it isn't that simple with these cars.

It definitely is that simple to fix the valve open with wire or pull the fuse, but I like to be able to control it. I highly recommend the SST controller. Hit up mike@x-ph.com if you're interested. I love mine.

I’ll raise you a CANflap from Awron and really wake her up lol. The AA EL is my favorite component made for this car besides a pair of front bushing conversions.

+1 for SST , its a simple install, reasonable price and its got all the features you will need.

You can 1-keep the valves open, 2- keep them closed, 3- keep them stock 4- set them at 50%

you also can program your mirror buttons to control the valves on the fly.

Awron controller also an option to maintain in car button control instead of separate remote. Not sure if Mike carries them yet but definitely go with him if he does.

We don't offer Awron, It's an excellent product as well.

Given the price difference between the 2, its a personal preference on whether customers believe this extra feature is worth it.

Regardless of which controller they choose, I'm confident they won't regret the decision
