I love the head-on view of a Cobra! This one looks to be a render, but I can't tell for sure. I like the color combo, but there are a couple of odd things going on with the stripes that I can't figure out. The jog in/out at the oil cooler opening and again at the front of the hood scoop. To get the stripes to look right on one of these cars, they need to taper out through the middle of the car.

I should've bought at 356 when they were still affordable.

1932 Stutz DV-32 Monte Carlo with aluminum body by Weymann.
The Stutz DV-32 used a V-8 engine with dual overhead cams and four valves per cylinder -- pretty exotic for the 1930s. The output from 322 cubic inches was 156 horsepower, which was almost as much as the V-12s of the day.

The Ford Model A succeeded the Model T and proved to be very popular in the 1920s and 1930s -- and on the second-hand market far later. Here's a 1930 rumble seat roadster.

Salmon Glacier north of Hyder, AK.
Had to do a number of miles up and back on a washboarded, "craters you could lose a Volkswagen in" and gravel road to get up there. I lightened up the bike by removing side cases and camping gear to make the round trip. PS: Bears in southern Alaska are apparently all on vacation-- Ranger said they're seeing "maybe" one bear a day.... but they also saw their first salmon in the river today, so things should pick up shortly. R.

1914 Benz 18/45 four-passenger runabout. Power comes from a 4.7 liter four-cylinder engine with 45 hp. Four-speed transmission and chain drive. Drum brakes on rear wheels only.
And when it rains, I believe you get wet.

By the 1960s, Japan's automotive industry was sufficiently developed to start branching out into new automotive territory. Honda introduced their series of small roadsters (previously posted in this thread) and Datsun produced a couple of sports cars named Fairlady.
Toyota debuted the 2000 GT coupe at the 1965 Tokyo motor show. It featured a two-liter DOC 150 horsepower inline six engineered by Yamaha. The 2000 GT was sold from 1967 to 1970; a total of 351 were built. (In 1970 Datsun electrified the automotive world with the sensational 240Z coupe which went on to glory.) Here's the Toyota 2000 GT.

For many of us our first view of the Toyota 2000GT was as the Bond car in the 1967 007 movie "You Only Live Twice"...
