Time to look for an additional M240.

Oh the humanity!
Rookie mistake.

Looks good. Is this with stock height? How does the car feel when driving?

Stock suspension. Feels pretty much the same driving.
It's more for looks.

Installed the G42 2 Series M Performance Carbon Fiber/Alcantara Interior Trim Set. Part#: 51-95-5-A58-544. Ordered it on September 24, 2024 from get BMWparts.com. The price was $1,125.60. I chose them because they had a free shipping promotion. The part did not arrive until October 3, 2024. I wanted this kit, notwitstanding not wanting the Alcantara knee pads, because it was a dry (matte) carbon. Once again I was influenced by Cannockwolf's build. I read here that there are separate parts for the console and cup holder door. I priced them to be around $850. What I found out is these parts are high gloss carbon fiber which I did not want. There are a few videos on how to remove the console trim and cupholder door but I found these to be the most helpful
',

The small trim piece above the cupholder door was easy to remove but slightly more difficult to install. I made the mistake of pushing it back in to far. Panic set in when I though it was going to fall behind and inside the console. After preserverance and alot of sweat I was able to get it back in place. The cupholder door was extremely simple. Removal and installation took about two minutes. Them came the console trim piece. It was smooth going until it came to the front two tabs. I read alot about how difficult these were to get at. After about five minutes, using plastic trim tools, I got the right one to release. The one on the left side was another matter. It probably took me about 30 minutes to get that one release. I was extremely careful since I did not want to break any tabs. There was even more sweating on that one. Installing the console trim was easy as long as you line it up correctly before you push down on the tabs. To me all my efforts were worth it since I think it looks great. Time to place the Alcantara knee pads on Ebay!
Here are some pictures.

Well I bought one. If you recently sold / traded sold yours to a dealer in San Antonio, message me and tell me how bad you ragged on it and how I made a horrible decision.

Joking aside, this thing is rad.

Where do you keep the tools? Thinking of putting a spare tire in the trunk but don't want stuff to be bouncing around

Mods list on that M240 on the dyno are: "Dinan exhaust, intake and turbo inlet pipe" according to the owner.

He has a dinantronics tuner on it. These cars are not making 400 wheel on stock tune.
