Is the MP HAS worth it? I plan on lowering, but is the $2820 cost to do it at BMW the way to go?

ALSO: What are the chances removing the wireless charger from my build moves me up?

I added the MP HAS to my build. I could not get any valid info as to any handling improvement on track (my main reason for adding it) - everyone just talks about looks.

My thinking is that I get my car and it is set to go, vs buying the parts and finding a shop to install it, etc. I'm sure it would be cheaper to go aftermarket, but I'd rather it be all done when I take delivery.

It’s also covered under factory warranty and probably adds to resale interest. Those reasons were the deciding factors for me. YMMV

PCD is Performance Center Delivery, where you pick up your car there in Greenville, SC, and get to drive their cars around the track.

My car has been at that status for 30 days. Also NJ bound. Really hoping to get on that boat next week!

I'm jealous. He went from allocation to production in 5 days. Build finished in 3 weeks. Late July allocations like myself are looking at start of production 2 months from allocation. My build isn't even that intricate with options all considering. I'll do my best to be patient it's a first world problem haha

Does west coast have anything to do with it? East coast ships have seemed pretty bad not really clear on west coast process

Week 34 / 8-21 build here. Mine did that two weeks ago and hasn’t moved since. I think that maybe normal and then it goes into assembly when it’s your week. I’m sure someone can confirm? So, I’m assuming I’m not actually not ahead of schedule…

Yeah this is the case. I'm week 34 as well, went status 150 at the same time as you. We should see movement at some point next week

Even if your car goes into production/is built ahead of schedule the real wait is it getting shipped out. Mine went into production like 4 weeks ahead of the original date I was given when I got my allocation but has been sitting around for over a month now waiting to be shipped out.

Received an allocation: 6/2/23
Original Production Week: 30 (7/24/23)
Production beings: 6/27/23 (Week 26)
Entering assembly line: 7/7/23
Quality check: 7/8/23
Final Assembly: 7/10/23
Ready for transport: 8/12/23

That was my production week too. Been in production queue for last 2 weeks. Today jumped ahead to quality check. So maybe check your status and see if it updated.
