The 2023 pricing guides can be found in the link below.

BMWUSA.com has started to release 2023 models, but the 2 is still showing MY 2022. Hopefully it will get updated soon.

When exactly is the VIN assigned? I received it today. However, no one has told me the expected production week so far. How can I chronologically assign the VIN in the order / production?

Look through the posts in this thread—there are tons of folks who have given their timeline.

I got a VIN two and a half weeks before my scheduled production date

So I would guess you’re a week 29

Mine appeared once my status flipped to Production Begins. You can find your build date using the Chrome developer trick

Thank you for your answers. I'm from Germany. Unfortunately, we have no tracking options from BMW.

Hey, just wondering if anyone that was at production scheduled change their build and have it go back to order received?

I added adaptive cruise and it went back a step. My sales man claimed it still said production scheduled for him just wondering if that's true or not.

Yeah sometimes the status flips back and forth.I think the less changes you make to your order the better.

What's the average ETA from final assembly to delivery? 1.5 months-ish?

Woooo! Finally hit status 150, it's only taken 5.5 months from placing my order!

15th Jan - Order placed 15th Jan - Initial Build week 14 (Status 112)
15th March - Dropped to build week 16 (Status 112)
9th April - Dropped to build week 20 (Status 111)
29th April - Still week 20, but back to status 112. Also given delivery week 29.
9th May - Back to status 105
20th May - Spoke to my dealer, confirmed my car will now be a MY23. New build week 29 (w/c 18th July).
1st July - finally hit status 150, feels like such a relief. I was waiting for another delay.

For those of you in the Northeast USA waiting, I know we've been watching BRAVERY ACE, but I found another ship...

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...:VIKING_ODESSA

This one is called VIKING ODESSA, it originally left Veracruz, stopped in Jacksonville, and it arrived at the port in NY a few hours ago.

I hope some of your cars are on there. I'm 90% sure mine isn't.

As far as Vehicle Carriers arriving in Veracruz soon, there is SFL COMPOSER arriving tomorrow, I don't know if that one will be coming up the east coast however. Also arriving tomorrow is ALLIANCE FAIRFAX. The only port call I see for that ship is Jamaica, so again, no idea if it'll be coming up the east coast. SAN MARTIN is another one, just left Veracruz headed to Baltimore. ADRIA ACE left a few days ago headed to Brunswick, GA, but that one doesn't seem to come up to the Northeast.

If anyone can find any info on the planned itineraries of these ships, please share! I'm stuck at this point lol.

Yeah I have no clue really. I think I took a look at all those ships but none actually stopped at the ny/nj port. One went up to Washington D.C then Rhode Island which is Siem Confucius and that one is in Vera Cruz port now but besides that my only guess waiting for Bravery Ace to make its way back down and up the coast again.

But I really don't know how any of this works. If BMW has contracts with certain companies or if some of these other ships will make a stop at the nj/ny port. I have no clue, hopefully we get on a shop sooner than later.

Been on this forum and following deliveries, I'd recommend going through this thread and reading yourself. But I would say its an optimistic three months, common four, and some people as much as six.

My car landed to Port Hueneme last week and was set to ship out earlier this week. So far has missed picked by truck for transport from CA to CO and I am still "At the Port" status. Really hoping their system is behind and my car really is on a truck right now otherwise instead of picking up my car tomorrow it's looking like late next week.

From final assembly to delivery? Surely you misspoke here, I've been following the thread and I agree with MPR, it seems to be up to a 1.5-2 month wait. Obviously that varies by where you live.

When I ordered my car, the dealership had a (sold) M240 with a 1/11 prod date sitting there to look at. This was on 2/19 and it had been there for a few days already at that point.

Yup you're right, meant order to delivery. My bad. I guess I should've had more coffee!

FA to Delivery for me is looking like 1.5 months.

Thanks guys, I read through 15-20 pages or so and didn't want to flip through more. I figured some have been watching the thread for a while and could provide a quick answer.

I just placed an order for the carbon fiber interior trim kit and CF muffler tips from Ali Express. Just have to hope nothing funny happens between now and when I arrive at the dealer for pickup. Looking to also buy the Monaco CF spoiler.

Have to get the ball rolling on selling my BR-Zed

Your CA can let you know which ship it is on as well.
At this point, I don't even want to talk to my CA. Everything was all good until he disappeared for 3 weeks and wouldn't call me back. He finally did and when I asked about doing a vanity plate he basically hung up on me. His response was, "You can petition the DMV after you take delivery of the car, I have to go.", and hung up on me. This was at 9:30am mind you. I still wanted to add some port installed accessories to the car, but now I'm just going to order the stuff and install it myself.

When I pick up the car I'll be sure to tell him and the GM of the dealer that if the car wasn't so exciting to me, my CA would have ruined this experience.

I should have known he was a moron when I was ordering the car. He was swearing to me these cars were made in Germany and I told him they're made in Mexico, the VIN will start with 3, and he said no and swore that the cars he's delivered came from Germany.

He also told that not only did my car have ACC, but it had Driving Assistant Professional. It was only through this thread that I knew that was bullshit.

He also said when I placed the order that this dealer never charges over sticker. I popped in there 2 weeks later to change the color (because he wouldn't call me back), and he did not seem happy to see me and said that the guy who originally placed the order was paying $2,500 over. Well which is it?

This guy really sucks. I walked in there off the street and placed an order for a $60k car same day, and this is how I've been treated.

I spoke to Genius on Monday and the nice lady I spoke with told me to call back in a week. I'll try to get more info from them.

That's insanely disappointing, sorry to hear that. My CA has been pretty great I suppose I've taken that for granted. Something to address for sure.
