So for those who have switched back to “In Transit”, when did the switch occur? When you were assigned to a truck carrier, when you left the VDC or when you arrived at dealer?

BMW website status tend to lag somehow.

Mine switched to In Transit this afternoon and arrived at the dealership a few hours later, so clearly there is some delay. It likely started the move yesterday based on the time it got here today.

Not yet for me. According the genius and CA, the system claims it will leave Baltimore tomorrow and arrive in Chicago tomorrow. Not sure I believe that unless truckers drive 12 hours in a day

When you all start getting your cars, I think it would be interesting to know how many miles are on them. What's normal, and what's an indicator that a dealer may have added some joy miles.

CA told me the car would have 10 miles on it. It seems pretty standard with all the cars on the lot.

Same- my CA told me today that it’s on a truck leaving Baltimore tomorrow, with a “60% chance” of arriving to the dealer tomorrow (Wed-11/22). 🤞 Otherwise, delivery Friday. My location is Northern Virginia.

Congrats to all receiving cars and hang in there to all still waiting for departure from MX. This thread has been a lifesaver!

It’s quiet in Baltimore. Genius gave me the same update as yesterday. Car is released to trucking company as of yesterday. Was expecting it to be in transit today but they don’t know. Still showing at the port online.

Would a call to the VDC be more helpful?

Thanks, Hadn’t thought about that. After 10 mins searching I can’t find a number - I’m sure they don’t want us calling and purposely made it difficult. I found a number for Baltimore VPC but they seem to only deal with military and said I had the wrong number. Sparrows Point seems to be called BMW Group instead of VPC on Google and can’t find a number.

My cubicle window faces i95. I’m looking out my window every couple of seconds to see if I see my car on a truck heading down 95 south from Baltimore. I’ve seen about 5 truck loads of cars but no bmws yet.

I’m scheduled to pick my car up Friday, but status is still at the port.

Oh, good numbers! Do you know the number of cars unloaded from Brunswick and Sparrows point as well?

We hypthothesized around 3k in total from 3 build weeks stored at Veracruz, and then spillover went to Altamira.

I just switched to At Dealership! I was going there tonight to get my truck appraised. Maybe they can have it ready for then? My CA gets in at 1 today, so I’ll check with him then.
