Opinions on replacement grille
I would like to replace the oem front grille for a couple reasons:
1. The design is a little boring 2. I hate cleaning the tiny spaces between the slats. I want to stay with gloss black, and found these two options pictured below. Does anyone have either of these grilles (even in cf), and can you post pics? One appears to be two pieces while the other is one piece. I'm assuming the front fascia needs to be removed for the swap. Does it matter if the replacement is 1-piece or 2 separate pieces? I don't know that I care if I keep the front M2 emblem in the grille, so I'm leaning toward the option without, though it's about $150 more. Appreciate your experiences with either or opinions.

I got the Chinese version of the 1 piece grill you posted but in carbon fiber instead, though the csl type grill is nice I still think this one flows better with the car.
I also managed to get a front emblem on the grill, though a silver ine would’ve stood out more |

Replacement Grille
There were no issues with installing the Autoid grille.. I had the car wrapped so the front bumper was coming off and I thought it was a good time to make the change...The factory unit is one piece and the Autoid unit is two pieces but you would never know it till you go to make the swap...

I got this CF CSL style from Bimmerplug as it was cheaper than most. Pretty sure it was drop shipped but could be wrong. That being said quality and fitment are good.

On a positive note, I love your vent protection. What brand did you install? I’ll do the same

TBH I didn’t take your comment as a negative. If everyone liked the same thing that would be boring. Others like the ardo vertical grill where you couldn’t pay me enough to have it. It is just the zunsport full set.

The Adro grill is sick, y'all have no idea what you're even talking about. You'll never see it on my car tho, it's ridiculously overpriced.
I also like the zunsport inserts and already have a full set ready to go when the car arrives. |

Devils advocate to my own opinion! I'm happy that the M2s grill isn't the full height of the front. |
