Retrofit Bluetooth in my 128i

Hello all,
I just got my 2009 128i and love it so far. A few things I am running into and trying to do myself as thats the kind of guy I am.

I have an iPhone 3G that I would like to sync with Bluetooth. Since I bought the car off the showroom floor, I did not have the option to add anything. Dealer told me BT can't be retrofitted into the car, and I doubt that is completely true. My last car I installed a Pioneer head unit with GPS, iPod connector and Bluetooth and it worked flawlessly. I see no reason why I can't get the same thing in my 128 as most of the cabling I am guessing is already run.

The OEM Phone wiring is no longer standard for MY2009 so the OEM Bluetooth retrofit is no more (at least in the USA).

It is unknown if BMW will issue a dealer-installed retrofit any time soon.
