G87 owners, do you daily your M2?
Curious to see what the other G87 owners are doing.
I've been daily driving my M2 since I got it 7/8/23 and have over 8k on the car already. I love driving this thing. That being said, I have been playing with the idea of picking up a daily. Tried to lease a Civic in September and the dealers here were such a rip off ($7k ADM on a lease!) I just decided to keep driving the M2. Also considered picking up something for under $10k cash, but didn't want something unreliable. Plus I have my girlfriends Bronco Sport if I really needed it, although I'm not a huge fan of driving that thing. This got me wondering, how many G87 owners daily their car vs keep the G87 as a weekend only car and daily drive something else. If you have a daily, what do you drive? Excited to hear your responses. If you have a daily, post a picture with your M2. |

No, my X3 M40i is (will be) my daily (currently a Mazda CX-50). When I get an M2 again, it's my weekend car. HOWEVER, I am moving to Tennessee in a few days, and I may be able to drive it all year round vice parking it november to april like I do in PA. I'll have to see how they treat the roads and such.

If it puts a smile on my face daily, why not drive it daily?
Alabama winters are mild. If it snows everything closes down anyway. This is not a super car and has all the modern creature comforts. Drive it. |

It's my daily. I drive it to work and use it for short runs to the stores. Spouse has a Q5 that is better for longer road trips and luggage carrying when needed but I don't use that otherwise. I feel the G87 can really settle down and be comfy when needed in efficient mode

My daily as well. Only in office twice a week and it's not a bad commute. The rest is just the gym and wherever else the day takes me. In AZ where we can drive year round with no issues.

Yes, my daily. After getting the g87 I sold my well kept 2009 E82. Even when I baby it, the car was starting to show it’s age (no, shit!). What a great car! Had 53k miles on it. Should be driving the g87 more than the E82 since dont want to drive any othe car. What a great “problem” to have.

The struggle is real lol! Honestly though can't imagine living somewhere having to change wheels/tires or vehicles based on season. Granted we get 3 months of pretty solid heat but then 9 months of amazing weather. But even those 3 hot months that weather doesn't prevent driving you just deal with higher iats and heat soak at the track or even dd.

It's my daily in the PNW. I used my F87C as my daily as well. When things really turn to shit, I put snow tires on the wife's GTI. Though, I may end up leasing a 4Xe Wrangler because they're like $300 a month. Might be worth it.

Yup, drive it everyday.
What great lives we live to be able to drive a car like this on the regular. Not long ago, this would have been a supercar! |

It is my "daily" - snow tires and all, but I work from home and can use my SO's X3 on super bad days. Tomorrow will be first wet/snowy drive.

$300 a month for a 4Xe? Did you leave off a digit?

Daily here as well. My commute is short, so I only drive ~500 miles each month. I have a 340 xdrive that is my wife’s daily, and a ‘11 335i that was my old daily, but it’ll be up for sale soon since the g87 is such a great daily for me.
