valve control

I talked with a local dealer today. (strictly BMW) Supposedly the valve control is already on your stock muffler. The valve control closes at certain rpm's to dampen the sound. This also gives you a very small torque boost. This is all what I was told so dont take what I say a complete truth.

MeisterShaft Valve Control

MeisterShaft Valve Control is a valve in the muffler that opens when the car reaches higher RPMs.

I'm a believer in aftermarket exhausts, and I'd love to invest in one but only if it made the right sounds. I want to recreate the music that stock BMW mufflers made in years past. I don't want it to sound like a teenager's pocket rocket, I want it to sound like the days when BMW's used to make purposeful, businesslike sounds that seemed to put focus on the mechanical aspects of the engine. Sort of a deep sound that BMW has covered up in the last several years. The E46 328/330i kind of had it, but the 323/325 did not. Now, neither the 325 or 330 has it.

Not sure how to accomplish this with sport exhausts.
If you get a full catback system once they're available, they'll be more along the lines of what you're looking for i believe

Guys, Can any one point me in the right direction to buy that exhaust for the price advertised in the first page? Cheers!
