Comfort Access Stopped Working - Aerial/Antenna Fault

So my Comfort Access has stopped working. I can no longer lock/unlock doors or trunk by touching the door handles - have to pull the FOB out and lock/unlock via key FOB.

Did all the obvious resets, config checks, tried other key FOB, etc.

Interestingly it started to happen after the last Firmware Update 11/2023 but is now a permanent condition. I just did the 03/2024 update hoping that would fix it, but no dice.

Decided to pop up my scanner, and lo and behold, I have a permanent fault on the Car Access System (CAS):

80411B - Aerial, Luggage Compartment Right: Aerial Fault or Line Disconnection.
(see below)

From googling, on Comfort Access if one antenna fails it disables CA on all doors, not just the failing one.

Question - Anyone knows where this antenna (aerial) or the cabling/fuse is? If it is a simple loose wire, I'd rather save a trip to the dealer.

Either way - posting as I have seen a lot of people with similar problems.

Thank you.

Fixed!!!!

Thanks to @ashkanvafaee2 for pointing me in the right direction.

Found out that the connector to the antenna in the trunk (battery compartment) was loose. Pressed it in and no more problems.

Picture below.

Hope it helps others. Turns out that if any of the multiple antennas is out the whole system stops working for all doors.

Thanks baron95; this just happened to me and it was the same loose connector. Was driving me a bit crazy. Did you do anything to secure it from working it’s way loose again?

No. I thought I'd have to do something, but after I reconnected it it has been solid for a few months. No more issues.

If it happens again I'll tape it with automotive cloth tape.
