I hope ID8.5 and BimmerCode are compatible!
I better be able to disable ASD day one on my MY25. There’s rumors of some things not working with ID8.5 and BimmerCode, and that BMW was going to make it more difficult to code out some things. Not a lot of info out there yet as those “i” owners are a different bunch.

With this new architecture, feature activation (including navigation) must be done automatically with ISTA or Over-the-air. No manual process exists." I hope I'm reading this wrong. |

At least there will be a reason for butthurt () 2023 and 2024 owners to feel better about their choices if they are the last gen compatible with bimmercode

Will be epic levels of butthurt. I’m gonna be walking funny for years to come. Can I just unplug the fuse to the factory amp and go without a stereo?
Is there a way that Bimmertech’s amp can remove ASD? I thought I saw that as an option.

Of course we won’t know until the ‘25s are out and people start to attempt things, but potentially the Awron canflap control unit may be able to disable the ASD on the ‘25 like it can on the ‘24.
