2,000km service done at 1,997km on the odo. When I called to book it a couple of weeks ago, both local dealers told me originally that the cart had to be OVER 2,000km to be "eligible". After some pushback, they told me that anywhere between 1,900 and 2,000 was a "grey zone" and acceptable.

I also instructed them that the car felt off alignment from delivery (picked up from another dealer in Calgary in Sep 2023). They checked and confirmed however, no mater how new the car is, a "grace" alignment is not covered (normal wear). They will confirm with HQ. If it is not covered, I will get it done at a specialized shop.

In other news, they tried to upsale me for an upcoming 1 of 1 2022 M5 Individual Fire Orange on its way.

As it was effectively broken in, you could have done a brake-stand and 3km of burn out in front of the service entrance to meet the criteria

Update: The service dept forwarded the alignment report to BMW Canada warranty coordinator and a 4 wheel alignment is now covered.

The warranty booklet for my (US) M2 has this:

Wheel alignment, balancing and wiper blade inserts are covered up to the first 2,000 miles on the vehicle.

Not sure about wiper blades in Canada. However the alignment is covered for the first 3,000km. My service advisor learned something.
