The "transformation" is that all the leaks were in Zandvoort Blue and these release photos are Toronto Red. It's perfectly valid to say that this car looks a lot better in TR than ZB. Take a look at the few release photos in ZB. IMO, they look far worse than the TR ones.

If all the release photos were in ZB as was originally planned, you would see a far more negative tone in these comments.

@blindside_137, It’s a good question - these look busy to me.

I’m sure the tech is better but not sure about the overall interior design changes.

Looks just like the leaks, but much better quality pictures and Toronto Red is nice.

I'll still need to see it in person, but it's a drastic change. It gives me JDM vibes, which is not necessarily bad.

The seats look great!

I don't have much else to say, except that I won't be getting on the order list.

I absolutely plan on doing just that. Turned in my M3CS 6 months ago and haven't touched another BMW since then. And BTW I had 5 F80's in 5 years so it's not like I didn't love the brand.
