18" Wheel Fitment

Are 18" wheels possible on the G42, or do they not have clearance for the brakes? I was thinking of getting some 18" 230i wheels for an all weather set of tires but not sure if it's a good idea, since the G42 doesn't even offer 18" wheels on the build sheet.

Garage List
Given that the 230i is a G42 and can be had with 18" wheels, clearly they are an option. Now whether they are an option for the M240 I couldn't say

I would guess that as long as you have the standard brakes there is a possibility that they will fit.

790M and 796M are both 18" sets specced for winter wheels for my M240ix
I've got the bigger brakes and 796M, they fit fine with decent clearance (but look very tight from the outside due to a lip).

I ran some BMW knockoff 18" wheels for my winter setup on my M240i (Replika R163A). I do not have the larger ZTK brakes, so I don't know how much those limit 18" options. I have pretty good clearance in the barrel of my wheels to fit the brakes on both the front and rear.

18" will fit, but maybe not in all cases. A test fit will be needed to be sure the offset and barrel size accommodate the brakes and overall fitment.

Would you happen to know what these are by any chance: https://www.ebay.com/itm/28500779777...mis&media=COPY

Think they would fit?

They look like 642s for a 5 series so I'd think unlikely but not an expert.
