I did some draggy runs last night with the Racechip installed. The car also has AA dps, equal mid pipe, and rear section, Eventuri intakes, and 827Ms if that matters. I filmed it and I'll have a video for YouTube shortly.
I don't have baseline numbers to compare to, so if anyone knows please share. It was 80+ degrees and the air was like soup. I did three 60-130 runs in total. In order the times were 8.56, 8.83, and 8.87. It felt really fast. |

So just looking around, G80's do about 9.8 sec 60-130 stock, G80's with similar bolt ons but running JB4 and pump gas seem to be running a little quicker than this, seen one guy running in the 7's, which is flying. Curious to see what you could do in better temps and less humidity, the weather here has been miserable this week. Eager to see your Youtube video. Last edited by ToneM2; 09-07-2023 at 12:21 AM.. |

I haven't encountered a situation yet in which I've felt any flex in the front end. I'd need to be on a track and driving back to back with both braces to feel a difference if there is any. I just got it because it looks cool if I'm totally honest. Plus I have the CSL wheels, so why not? |

How do those times stack up? I really have no basis to compare to other than my G42 M240i which ran 12.21 60-130 with the same mods, just a JB4 map 1 instead of a RaceChip. Hoping you could shed some insight.
Who am I smoking and who's smoking me? I'm doing RaceMotive 10/8 and would like to have an idea. Thanks! |

My bone stock 60-130 mph runs have been in the low to mid 10 second range with the quickest run being 10.09 seconds.

Here is the screenshot for my 8.83 run. The data from the 8.56 run isn't displaying in my history for some strange reason. Definitely an interesting comparison. Hopefully I can get a nice cool night soon and do some more runs. I can't emphasize enough how poor the air quality was the night I did these runs. |

Safe in terms of engine performance, but how about safety when it comes to traction in 1st and 2nd gears? It's definitely got a lot of output for a RWD vehicle.

We all wants to have high hp cars, but if you don’t want to learn how to control it, then you have a wrong mentality TBH. Computer is made to help us, not for us to rely on. My 0.10. (Inflation, need to raise from 0.01 to 0.10).
