826M Wheels on the G87 M2?

Just curious if anyone has fitted 826M wheels to their G87 yet. I just got a set as my summer wheelset (bi-color) and I'm debating either powder coating them in gold before having the tires mounted, or leaving them as is. They won't go on the car until May-June, sadly.

I did a little Google-Fu and only found a few pictures, all were the black (not bi-color) wheels. I'd definitely appreciate circling back if you find the ones you remember.

I just put 826m’s with winter tires in my G87 today. They’ll be getting powder coated bronze and will become my summer wheels in the spring. Sorry I don’t have great photos yet, just took delivery this morning.

The 826 look great but are probably the worst to clean of any wheel I've ever had.

I’ve honestly stopped cleaning wheels. If it doesn’t come off with soap and a pressure washer, it’s staying. Haha.

Got a couple pics with better lighting today. I’m not a very good photographer and I think black wheels are hard to photograph. Car has MP HAS and rear tires are 295/30r20, front are OEM size.

No problem. You planning to do yours in gold/bronze? I’ve got about 20 samples from prismatic powders in a variety of golds, bronzes, and champagne colors I’m trying to decide on. The front runners for me are called Goldie Luxe and Frosty Bronze.

Yeah, I’m considering prismatic powders as well. Hard to judge the colors online. They offer a lot of bronze/gold hues.

I bought G80 takeoff 826Ms. They will go on the car for summer/track duty, as soon as I wear the tires on the stock wheels and convert them to winter duty.

I honestly like the look of the OEM 930M wheels more than 826M, but they are soooo heavy.

Same, I got take offs of a G80. Got them mounted and balanced last night with very little fuzz. Just had to apply some dabs of Jet Black touch up paint, which at $40 for a bottle, hurt, but since mine were mildly used and I already had matching PS4S tires, I'm quite happy with how it all turned out for about $2,200 OTD. Looking forward to enjoying the 19lbs of weight savings in the summer.

Mine were $2,500 nearly new, ~2,000 miles on tires and ceramic coating.

It's amazing how many people remove these great wheels as soon as they get the car. At this rate I may just keep buying the takeoffs and reselling the worn set for like $1,000.

Nice deal with tires. I paid $1900 for the wheels themselves, plus mount and balance. I had a hard time finding the 826M in Bi-Color. It seems like 95% of the ones on the market at this time are black, which I refuse to buy out of principle nowadays. Tired of black wheels on cars.

I powdercoated bi color 825Ms black.

Fairly significant weight difference from the 930s.

First two pics are the cast 930 weights (Pretty shocking, I have to say. A set of Apex wheels would save FORTY+ lbs).

Second two pics are the lighter 825ms installed (sideways for some reason. )

Third two pics are the 825m weights (Around a 24 lb savings).

Lithium battery saves another 38 lbs.

Thanks for showing the specific weights, that's super helpful. The 930M are still on my car with all seasons until May, so I didn't get to benchmark them side by side. Nice chunk of weight savings for an OEM wheelset, specially per dollar. I wanted to go Apex, but spending $4000+ on their wheels mounted, plus having to buy wider brand new tires - when these high quality forged take offs are available and take OEM sizes tires I already have on hand, seemed a little silly.

I really like the way the 930s look. I just wish they were forged and not like, flow formed like the other M wheels, I'm talking about fully forged.

The 930 is an exact copy of the 825M, just heavier and cheaper.

How do these wheels fit with a drop? Any spacers needed? Was debating picking up a set but don’t know if I will need spacers still when dropped

They have the safe offset as the stock wheels. A 5mm spacer in the front will make them flush if that's what you're after.

They seem they sit more flush then stock. As with a drop I was planning 15 or 18 mm spacers with stock wheels
