We have Carmount in all our cars and they have been great. Very strong. But also low profile. The "receiver" for the phone is ~0.5mm I'd say, so not intrusive.

Has anyone ordered the ProClip phone mount? They do not show it for the M2, but they do for the 3 Series. HVAC vent area looks the same?

How was the fitment of the charger? I have seen a few people say that it left a little gap in the trim. I have always used these chargers in previous cars but was waiting to see if they addressed this issue.

Figured it out. Went with the Rennline BMW G80-G20 Exactfit Magnetic Mount: https://www.rennline.com/bmw-g80-g20...c-phone-mount/

Used a plastic trim tool and seats perfectly.

If you had something in the passenger side drink holder, potentially, I have metal plates on the upper & lower thirds of my phone case so I can shift it higher if necessary.

It’s mostly so I can FaceTime the wife on the work commute and she can see me haha. 😂

Storage tray no real impact. Can easily move the phone if it was preventing it opening/etc. I keep mine open so not an issue.

I got the same one but with the charging, really don't like where BMW placed the USB centered and its annoying having the cord go there - really debating tapping behind the dash to give a cleaner install. The mount is awesome otherwise.
