I am tracking the ship and it says they are headed to Jacksonville but they have not made a turn north or south so far.

Who know what is up. All I know is it was Ready for Transport on 9/10........almost a month of waiting.

Looks like it made the turn south. Wtf.

Yeah it blew past jacksonville and is almost in miami. wtf is going on.

It looks like it isn’t scheduled for JAX until Oct 11. My guess is it is moving to a safe location to let storm go by before heading into port on Friday?

Just got off the phone with GENIUS. They said because of storm they are doing some Florida dropoffs first and will then still be going to Baltimore. She didn't have an updates to schedule but I have to assume this delays things by at least a few days to a week. We'll see. I'm just glad to know my car is actually still on that ship and it should be going to Baltimore at some point LOL.

Yea, logic seems odd to me. So these cars being dropped off are likely to be sitting outside now in a lot by an ocean port as opposed to safely on a ship.

I'm about to place my order with my CA. Looks like 10 weeks to get my order. One question through, the shopbmw site has nothing in terms of M Performance parts that my M4 did! Where's all the cool add-ons?

Specifically looking to add at least this:
G87 M2 M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler - BMW (51-19-5-A51-348)

But I can only find it on aftermarket sites. What gives?

Ask your CA about port installed accessories.

Here's the list, although the wing has been added and the code is ZC9. It was not available when this list was printed for me in August.

Fully Loaded Voodoo Blue, with port installed MP springs. We'll see how long this one takes. Anyone order one of the individual colors they are discounting? What ETA's have you heard?

It was originally supposed to arrive at the Port of Baltimore on 10/9. I think the strike and hurricanes pushed the date to 10/19.

For a semi-custom build, four month seems reasonable. Back in 2011 my WRX (370 whp) took three months. I recall a natural disaster happening in Japan around that time too. When I watch the news I am just happy I am still getting my first M car (third BMW) and not rebuilding my house.
