iDrive Activates on Opening the Door??

I can't stand how my 2024 BMW M240i G42 turns on the idrive just by opening the door. It's so irritating; it makes me not want to open the door to clean it/if I forget something. Every time I open the car door, all the computers start up, searching for Bluetooth, CarPlay, etc. I have to manually then shut it down by holding the power button.. My F22 was never like this.

How do I turn that off?

Use the Dukes of Hazzard method of entry / exit?
