Android Carplay Battery indication showing red

My android phone Samsung s23 ultra is connected to the car via Bluetooth.
While in navigation mode, the battery indication shows red. My phone had 30% left.

Has anyone experienced this?
I searched through the owner manual but not found anything specific.

This section of the screen is rendered by your phone and sent to the iDrive display over the wireless connection. That is to say - Android is drawing the red battery, so you won't find that in your owners manual.

The battery is red because your phone was in power save mode.
