FRONT Park Distance Alerts/Camera

Anyone else's car point-blank refuse to activate the front camera/sensors when forward parking? Anyone able to overcome this?

Yes, mine does this. I have to manually hit the PDC button on the shifter console when parking.

Regardless of distance, it will not alert automatically.

I have the option set in the ID8 menu to automatically alert, but still no luck.
