Crazy how fast the G87 is. In 3rd gear it’s like a jet fighter. Imagine the auto here, it would be even more of a slaughter.

And THIS is why you tune race engines for the high end, rather than the low end.
And why I will continue to mock Throttle House, who seemed to think a car that could go 0-60 in 4 seconds was slow... because they don't know how gearing works. |

I believe they were specifically testing cars with available manual transmissions here. I'm sure lots of autos would do better, but that wasn't the criteria.
