Hard to find definitive information, but seems like 1500s are street optimized. The 2000s should have a more track focus, which may mean don’t bite as much until warmed up but can withstand harder use before overheating.

Curious, did you also include the break wear sensor as well or no? I would think one would not have to but I am not 100% sure.

Many say it’s not needed. I included them.

I figured a few more bucks was just a pittance in the context of total $$ spent thus far.

YMMV

No, only 3k+ miles on my car, so should be reusable.

I like when he says at 1:50 that EBC Reds "aren't the best for stopping power"

I think he was saying for track use. BTW, iSweep has a track compound as well.

If you want the least amount of dust, brake squeal and longest pad wear, get the 1500.

This addresses the concern of OEM vs 1500, at least.

The 1500, for Street and Winding Road use, is better than the OEM in all dimensions.

I doubt it. There is no such thing as zero tradeoffs. It's probably better for most uses, no disagreement there. It's "data" from the manufacturer of the aftermarket pad plus no test procedure or indication of what OEM pad they tested against. This shows IS2000 dusts more than OEM which is not true at all for a BMW.

Received my order yesterday from Autotecknic. The box certainly feels like all the pads are in there, but I guess I better make sure.
