Paint suppliers

Does anyone know if bmw mexico and bmw germany share identical paint suppliers ?

No, but odd question. Why? Not a ton of problems with BMW Mexico paint besides some of the frozen stuff I read about.

Believe BMW uses BASF paint.

And specifically Glasurit paint.

Some few years ago Porsche added Glasurit paint to its Spies Hecker and Standox (both made by Dupont) paints.

Yes. It is the same paint and paint quality as every other BMW barring some localized issue with the equipment or process. BMW used to use Sikkens and may now use BASF.
