Are port options installed at exit or entry port?
According to my dealer, my m2 just made it to Galveston, with a status of "in transit." I got the MPHAS suspension option, and was wondering if it would have been installed at the port of exit, or the port of entry—IE, Galveston? I'm just trying to determine whether I have days or weeks. Or more. Nonetheless, I'm super excited.

Thanks for the info, guys. Me and Seth have been duking it out for Oklahoma g87 supremacy for over a year, though we weren't aware of each other until recently. We're neck-and-neck, and if the MPHAS nudges be back behind him a bit, I won't be mad.
Haven't confirmed about the parts. I'll probably stop bugging them and ride it out. |

On that note- when is the “official” cutoff for PIA’s? One CA told me it’s at 150/Production begins - but Ive also heard of PIA requests being fulfilled (and on the Maroney) up until your car is loaded on a ship?

I know you can add VIA options in status 150, but I'm not sure how long after.

My SM worked in conjunction with his contact at NA and ensured my HAS and other items were at the port before my car arrived. But I was a PIA about my PIA going smoothly and in a very timely manner. So YMMV, my Center is owned by NA and they were involved in a few stages of my process.

But of course then your wait could be quite long. Especially with these hard to source items. |

I was able to add the M HAS when my car was showing ready for transport. It then spent two weeks at the VPC (Oxnard) with a work order for the suspension. No idea how much of that was waiting for parts vs labor. It does take 2-3 days of actual work for the suspension to go on.
