Automotive journalists love the car, influencers don't. I value the objective testing and thoughts on the car far more from the pros.

Motorweek would struggle to hate a car, they are generally very upbeat.

That said, I really thought their review and comments were spot on to the capabilities and shortcomings. A very realistic review and very unbiased.

Influencers want a 10lb car with 10,000hp and 30” wide tires. That’s their perfect sports car.

You forgot they also don't want to pay for it. Have you seen some of the POS influencers personally own and drive?

If there's anything the CLAR platform does well, it's traction. All grip, all the time, no matter the circumstances.

interesting they got pretty much the exact same 1/4 mile time as the 2019 M2 comp they tested. just 1 mph faster for the new car. i was gonna say that down to manual vs auto. but car and driver got the same 1/4 mile times for the manual and auto m2c.

Braking better than expected, but quarter trap was just a tad worse than I expected on real tarmac. 12.6s @ 116 MPH. Not enough to bother me, it is hardly slow.

Also, I think that's the first review I've seen that achieves 4.1 0-60 with the MT. I assume that includes rollout.

I just now realized that the cf roof does not go well with TR. That's a bummer.

Idk if I'd say "awful", just not great. But it definitely could just be cuz it's in photos. Saw TR HEA at my dealer and it looked amazing (definitely better than photos) , but didn't have cf roof.
