My thoughts too. It really doesn't accentuate anything. Almost passes off as boring but I won't go that far

I have regretted not doing a full stealth PPF on my BSM ever since I saw this picture. I think it looks so good.

Yeah it looks good. But imho the matt wrapped bsm works better on bigger cars. M2 is asking to be in a brighter colour.

Like I said before, this will be the most sought after modern M car of our time. It's the real successor to the E30. It's a home run for BMW.

Does anyone else think the taillights are too far from each other?

Yes. I found them unbearable on the 240 but more acceptable on the M2 given the extra width and bumper design

This thing is already better looking than the G80. Really growing on me. Can’t wait to see it in person.

Black hides problems and other bad design, that's why ugly cars default to dark colors

The EV thing will be a bust & they'll be plenty of other M variants that will be more coveted.

This car is just alright all around. Neither amazing nor terrible.

The real selling point is that If you want a coupe w/ 4 seats and a manual for less than $70k, what're your options ?

I do wish it was made in Germany.

E92 is the weakest M design ever. Slab sided, no hips to speak of. Don't cast aspersions on the G87 please.

Disagree, a clean Space grey E92 M3 with comp. Pkg. filled up next to me the other day, completely stock with just Akra exhaust. Still a beautiful thing.

I've had bsm twice and let me tell you even after ppf the dust that can be seen on top drove me nuts both times. The second go I had falsely convinced myself that itd not be issue for me. That i was moving past all that nonsense. But I couldn't. I cringed everytime I got into the car and only saw dust. Even knowing that in a few short miles I'd California dust it off...
Don't use a California scratcher on black. Bucket of water with one capful of eco wash, a wet mitt and a proper drying towel. Takes 7-10 minutes to do entire car. 5 minutes with 2 people. Your welcome.

Black looks very good. I'd love a dark blue instead of smurfblue… BSM with red calipers, carbon roof and Bucketseats would be my ideal spec. But holy shit, a cool 89450€ , 15.000€ more than what I payed for my F87 lci, back in 2018. That includes 21% VAT. Very expensive. Simular spec, F87 even includes Mperformance parts and swapped seats with upholstered CS seats. Located in Belgium. I really dislike those taillights. They look off to me. Too much blob. Was expecting 70k base, 80k with options. Been driving BMW and BMW M for over two decades. Can't imagine life without a rearwheeldrive sportscar. The thought saddens me.

At a whisper of €95K in Belgium if you spec all available options (except for the optional maintenance packages and optional M Performance Parts).

Add the mandatory €5K registration tax and this full-option 2er sets you back virtually €100K. Close to the stock F87 M2 CS base price (€96.5K + €5K registration tax).

But be happy you don't need to register this car in France where the environmental registration tax 'malus écologique' will be €50K in 2023 for the 6MT (CO2 of 226-230) and €40K-€45K for the ZF8 automatic (CO2 of 218-222). Or in The Netherlands where the 'BPM', 'registration tax, 'readying cost' ('kosten rijklaar maken') and 'recycling tax' is over €44K for the 6MT and almost €40K for the ZF8.

'Malus écologique' tariffs applicable in France for 2023: https://www.largus.fr/actualite-auto...-10982397.html

Considering VAT and environmental registration taxes charged in several European states, US forum members over here shouldn't complain too much about the price charged in the US for this car. Seen from a French or Dutch perspective, this car is a bargain in the US.
