As titled, my transmission went out in my 94 740iL and I love the E32 honestly and hate to let it go. I called a shop locally and said that according to their computers it has a 5HP-30 and short of buying new from BMW there's nothing they would do.

Question is: • what reputable place can I purchase a reman unit • Is there a master rebuild for the ZF 5hp30 and where could I purchase it.

I've searched but am weary of dropping 6k and getting shafted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
